ASTRAL BIB SHORTS

The Astral bib bib shorts are designed to ensure high thermal and biomechanical performance in summer conditions. The main fabric is a blend of 80% polyamide and 20% elastane, selected for its high multidirectional elasticity, abrasion resistance, and ability to maintain stable compression over time. Its structure promotes rapid moisture transfer, optimizing thermoregulation above 24°C.

The bibs are made of the same material as the bib shorts, with an elastic mapping designed to follow the anatomy of the chest without creating excessive traction points. The continuity of the fabric ensures uniform mechanical behavior between the upper and lower sections, improving stability during the traction and push phases of pedaling. The multi-panel construction minimizes seams and limits potential chafing.

The Giotto chamois

uses Full Carving technology, featuring a three-dimensional architecture that removes excess material in non-load-bearing areas. This solution reduces overall weight and thickness, increases internal ventilation, and ensures constant pressure distribution on sensitive areas. It is designed to offer optimal biomechanical support on medium- to long-duration rides (3–4 hours) while maintaining a stable level of cushioning.

The leg cuff uses an elastic band with controlled compression and integrated internal gripper, designed to keep the garment in place without hindering circulation or encouraging the build-up of sweat. Length and pressure are calibrated to improve venous return, reduce muscle vibrations and maintain panel stability even during sprints or out-of-the-saddle phases.
