Astral Bib Shorts are engineered to deliver high thermal and biomechanical performance in summer conditions. The main fabric is an 80% polyamide / 20% elastane blend, selected for its high multidirectional elasticity, abrasion resistance and long-lasting compression stability. Its structure promotes rapid moisture transfer to the outside, optimizing thermoregulation above 24°C.
The bibs are made from the same material as the shorts, with an elastic mapping designed to follow the anatomy of the torso without creating excessive tension points. The continuity of the fabric ensures uniform mechanical behavior between upper and lower panels, improving stability during both pulling and pushing phases of the pedal stroke. The multi-panel construction minimizes seams and reduces potential friction points.
The Giotto chamois features Full Carving technology, characterized by a three-dimensional architecture that removes excess material from non-load-bearing zones. This reduces weight and overall thickness, increases internal ventilation and provides consistent pressure distribution on sensitive areas. It is engineered to deliver biomechanically optimized support for medium-long rides (3–4 hours), maintaining stable cushioning over time.
The leg hem uses a controlled-compression elastic band with integrated grip, designed to keep the garment in place without restricting blood flow or causing sweat build-up. Length and pressure are calibrated to enhance venous return, reduce muscular vibrations and maintain panel stability even during sprints or out-of-saddle riding.
